Disney on Ice

We surprised the kids with Disney on Ice. Haylie didn't know what we were doing until we got there and the look on her face was so cute!! She was so excited. The people in front of us kept looking back at her laughing because of how dramatic she was about the whole thing. She had to make sure we took a picture of every character that came out. I was a little worried about bringing Daxton because when we went to the circus he was horrible but he actually loved it! I think he wore himself out though cuz the second half he zonked out in my arms and that is not normal for him!
She loves Tinkerbell the most!

This is the second half, I don't know how he was sleeping because it was so loud!

This is Daxtons famous crusty! I think he does it on purpose now because everyone always laughs when he does it!

This was pretty much Haylies face the whole time!! Love it!!

Daxton was just as excited as Haylie the first half, he was freaking out clapping and dancing, sooo cute.

Florida

This was the first time away from both kids all by ourselves and wow!! I actually do enjoy my husbands company!! It seems that life gets so busy with kids and jobs and house chores etc. that sometimes we don't have time to actually sit down and enjoy each other. It was so fun to get away from the SCHEDULE of life and RELAX. I actually got some sleep too!! We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale right on the beach. It was so beautiful there. We got up and ran by the ocean in the mornings. I went from treadmill to sand!! Big Difference!! It was hard!!
No I didn't take a picture of this guy driving a boat, that parachute up in the sky is me and Todd. We went parasailing. It was actually not that scary! It was really quite peaceful floating up in the sky.
This is us getting ready to go parasailing. I was freakin out at first. I was shaking so bad, but Im so glad I tried it because it was awesome up there.

The resort we stayed in had all these cute places for pictures with little benches with flowers everywhere, but it seems that every time we asked the random guy walking by to take our picture they didn't seem to ever get anything but us in the picture.

Haylies Ear

Here is another funny by Haylie. Last night after playing a MILLION games (freeze tag, mother may I, took turns singing our made up songs, simon says etc..) It was time to put kids in bed so we tuck them in, and put a movie in and about 30 minutes into the movie we hear Haylies door open and she walks to the top of the stair and yells down "Mom I have to tell you something" so I go up there and she says "um mom my ear is very sweaty", me and todd start to laugh and I told her to just turn her head and lay on the other ear that is dry so she goes and gets in bed and like 10 minutes later she comes down and tells me now both ears are sweaty and she won't be able to go to sleep unless I turn on her ceiling fan so her ears can dry out. So Todd went up and turned it on and she fell back asleep. We were laughing so hard. This girl continues to crack me up. She is one of a kind!! I love her!

Haylies 4!!

I can't believe Haylie is already 4!! She is in love with princesses and so it only made since to invite Cinderella!! It was so fun to see all the little girls eyes light up when they saw the real cinderella in person!! Haylie told her she saw her in Disneyland. The party was a great success. Cinderella told stories, played games and painted all their face so the best part for me was that I didn't have to worry a bout a thing. Haylie has been talking about turning four since she turned 3 and she is now talking about turning 5 and she would like to try Snow White out next time she says. She cracks me up. I also decided to try something new and make her bday cake. My sister came over and we gave it try and it didn't turn out too bad. I have never made fondant before.

This is Daxton saying cheese. I had to throw that in there. I love this stage soo much. He is starting to try and talk and its sooo cute!

Christmas morning

Waiting to come down and see what Santa brought. What a mess!! Haylie had to open every toy and try it out.

This christmas was so fun for Haylie because she is at that fun stage where she talked about Santa and was so excited. She was spoiled this year and poor Daxton got like 3 toys but he doesn't get it so thats okay. I think He liked Haylies stuff just as much. We kept finding him sitting in the barbie jeep trying to drive. It was so cute. Todd made Haylie a barbie house, but he still has more to do to it but she didn't care. Everything she opened she would say "wow! Its just what I've always wanted!" It was cute.

Christmas time is here!

We had our family christmas party today. I used to get so excited as a kid for santa to come and now its my kids that get excited. Haylie was so excited all week to sit on Santas lap and get her Belle princess purse that I had to make sure I got because she just knew he would get it for her!

Daxton on the other hand wasn't so happy!!
Haylie is growing up too fast!! She acts like she's about 16 now.

This is Daxton and his cousin Easton and they always seem to have there battle wounds in every picture.

I love my little buddy and time like this. He is such a cutie!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am so thankful for so many things. It is so easy too look past all the things your blessed with in life and just want more. It's nice to step back and look at all the great things I have and the good will always flood out the bad. I am so thankful for my husband that is patient and loves me so much. I am thankful for my 2 sweet kids that keep me on my toes and keep me laughing. I am thankful for a roof over my head. I am so thankful to know my Heavenly Father loves me and is there to help me through life. I am so thankful for all my wonderful friends I have to laugh with. I am thankful to have family so close that I can enjoy time with them. The list could obviously go on and on. My goal is to try and ground myself and always focus on the blessing around me. Hope you all are having a great Thanksgiving!
