We call these little guys the triplets because they were all born within weeks so of course they got to all share their first birthday

together. They are cute little cousins. We had a western theme with horse rides and a hay hunt with prizes and they all got their very own cakes!

Where did the time go??

Daxtons favorite thing about his party was this balloon!! He did not want to let go until it popped.

I love this kid so much, he is so cute and his cheeser smile brightens up each day! It has been fun to watch him grow although I feel it was like yesterday I had him. He is my little army crawler, I don't think he will ever crawl normal but really what is normal? Every baby has their own style. He is definitely a lot more needy than Haylie ever was. He loves to be by his mommy!! He also never did take a darn bottle.

I have had a very busy, sleep deprived year but it was worth every minute of it. I'm so happy and blessed to have this bundle of joy in my life. Happy Birthday Daxton! We love You!

catching up

Okay, sorry for all the pics but I had to catch up on some of the things we have been doing or else I will forget or put it off, so while I actually have some time to sit I decided to catch up a bit. This is Haylie at Todds work.

Haylie loves to go to Daddys work and drive the tractors. She thinks it's so cool. This is some of the stuff that Todd sales at his work.

We just went to the zoo. It was so fun. Haylie loved the bird show. It was awesome. She carried around the map and she thought it was so cool to tell us which way to go and what animal we were going to see. She actually got to be in charge and was loving it.

Don't worry Daxton is just chewing on his foot. Very sanitary! It was too cute. I love this kid!

Haylie has started dance and preschool this week! These are her first day pictures. She was so excited to start dance again and she gets to be in her best friend Mkelles class. They've got the moves!!

I can't believe she's getting so big. Her and Cole are in the same class. She has been counting down the days to start preschool. She thinks she is so cool and is loving it.

We spent a lot of time at Lagoon this summer. Haylie loved all the rides. At first she was scared on a lot of them but now she'll go on all of them. Daxton got to go on a couple rides but he was a trooper on waiting. He liked to watch everything that was going on.

We just go back from camping at Crystal hotsprings. It was a lot of fun but I must say I don't think they have put any money into it since the last time I went, like 15 years ago.

We went with my family. This is Haylie with her cousins. She thinks her little chair is so cool!

This was so cute! Daxton and his cousin Cameron (Same age) were sitting eating their corn together. It kept them busy. Thanks for the idea D!!!

All the kids are always with Grandma. She is the funnest grandma ever. They were going to catch crawdads.

backyard fun

Haylie was so excited to play with her cousin Jordy today. They are cute little pals. They had fun in the water today. That is one of the funnest memories as a kid is playing with my cousins in the water all day in the sun.

I have to record this because it was so funny. Early in the morning at like 6:30am I'm laying there with daxton asleep on my arm and Haylie comes clonking in with her big pink hello kitty stereo and she starts to plug it in, meanwhile I'm trying to hurry and get Daxton off my arm quietly so I can grab Haylie and her radio and get out of the room before he wakes up as I'm whispering no no no no.....haylie whispers back" but mom I just want to dance" and continues to plug it in. I keep saying no no no and she whispers back quietly "mom stop saying no, that is a very annoying word!" I was laughing so hard. I do not know where she gets half of her words. Thankfully I got her out of the room before she plugged it in and we went downstairs and needless to say, we're dancing at 6:30 in the morning! The joys of motherhood!
Another thing that made me laugh today was that we were driving in the car and Haylie says "mom Heavenly Father made the world so cars can drive in it." It was so cute that she was thinking about that. I can not have abad day with her around because she's always making me laugh or smile some how. Anyways I have to write these down for my sake so I don't forget about them.

I love the month of July. It's so fun and full of fun things to do. Farmington has a cute little kids bike paradewhere they decorate their bikes and ride around the park. Haylie rode her little push bike. It was cute to watch. Then this morning me and my sister ran the 10k and we went to breakfast and the parade. Its been a fun busy day.
