half marathon

Me and my husband finally did our first half marathon. It was so much fun and it was all worth it. We really enjoyed it. Our families were all there to cheer us on.

This is my sister Ashlie and Ricky. She ran the 5k . The other one is me and my cute mom! Her and my Dad managed to miss me and Todd run in so they were waiting for like a half hour until I came up behind them. They were a little confused, it was funny. They had my baby so maybe they were distracted.

This is Haylie at the easter egg hunt at Grandma Davis' house. She got a magnifying glass for easter and so every time she found an egg she had to make sure it was an egg with her magnifying glass before she picked it up. It was hilarious. She is always doing something funny. On our way home from church on Easter she had a picture she colored of Jesus and the tomb. She said Jesus got stuck in a cave and there was a big rock in the way, and so I asked her if he got out of the cave and she said yes and I asked her how he got out. She said " um, um, well he just decided to use the door!" we were laughing so hard, it's stories like that you have to write down.

Ok I don't know what the heck I did on my last post, everything got mixed up, and I wasnt finished and one of my pictures dissapeared! Oh my! I am still Learning, but this is the picture that dissapeared and I wrote about it somewhere!

Daxton was also excited. This was his face pretty much the whole time. You would think he knew what we were doing! He just sat in the bumbo and watched. He was being funny.

This is Todd and Haylie coloring easter eggs. Haylie was so into the whole egg thing. She couldn't wait to color them.

Haylies officially potty trained!

So Haylie finally decided to be a big girl. She is a very smart but stubborn little girl. Every time I would try and get her to sit on the potty she would say "no thankyou I only potty in diapers!" so finally I just took her diaper off in the morning when I knew she needed to go and she begged and begged for her diaper but I didn't give in and she sat on the potty at the last second and went. Her face was hilarious and of course I was freaking out and we did a potty dance and from then on out she's worn her panties and it's been almost 2 weeks! Last night she came in at like 3:00 yelling I need to go pottie!! It was a very close call, she was frantic but we made it to the pottie thank goodness because it wasn't just pee, the second I put her on she fluffed for like 5 minutes, yes I know a little too much info but it was so hilarious. I had to sit there by her for like fifteen minutes while she finished!! I kept falling asleep and she kept reminding me how big she was. and now I get praised for going potty and she gets me potty prizes. So any who enough potty talk but this is a huge deal as you can tell. Yeah!!!!!!!!! I only have to change one bum now! Hope this put a little smile on your face. Those of you that are moms will understand.
